Creative Enterprise Award Recipient:
Ken Burns for Florentine Films, Walpole
The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts presented a Creative Enterprise Award to Ken Burns for Florentine Films, located in Walpole to recognize his outstanding contributions to the community of Walpole and the state of New Hampshire through their work in documentary film making, employing creative workers, investing in local businesses and nurturing young people through internships.
The Creative Enterprise Award was created to recognize outstanding businesses that make up that economic sector. The State Arts Council has always recognized the role the not-for-profit sector has in the vitality of the creative economy. With this award the State Arts Council brings attention to the important role of for-profit creative businesses that contribute to the excellence and availability of the arts in New Hampshire.
